In Loving Memory of Harold Collum

We mourn the passing of Harold Collum, Co-Founder & Executive Director, Cyber Future Foundation, a man whose life was a testament to love, compassion, and friendship. A cherished brother, a lifelong friend, a humanitarian of unwavering values, and a spiritual guide attired in the trappings of the business world, Harold has ascended to the heavenly abode, leaving an indelible void in our hearts.

For those fortunate enough to have known Harold, he was the embodiment of humanity’s finest virtues – kindness, warmth, compassion, generosity, and benevolence. His life was a dedicated service to humanity, and his love for the people and the land marked him as a pioneering Statesman for North Texas. As an eighth-generation Texan and native of Dallas, Harold ardently defended the legacy of his lineage.

Our Mission

To provide a collaborative platform for industry, public agencies and academia towards building a more trusted and secure cyber space at a global level. CFF provides a forum for sharing ideas at the highest level and a platform for converting them to action.

Harold’s contributions as a community builder and leader in North Texas were monumental. His leadership in the Cyber Crime Task Force at the North Texas Crime Commission laid the foundation for the cybersecurity professional community in the region.

Beyond his esteemed role at the Cyber Future Foundation, Harold’s accomplishments were vast and impactful. A 33rd Degree distinguished and ordained Freemason, he tirelessly worked for the betterment of society. Governor Rick Perry bestowed upon him the esteemed title of Admiral in the Texas Navy. As the Founder and CSO of Blackswan Cybersecurity, RIM Council Member at Ponemon Institute, and Chairman of US Data Mining, Harold’s influence reached far and wide.

In remembrance of Harold’s life and legacy, we invite you to join his Memorial Service on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at the Dallas Scottish Rite Cathedral Auditorium, 500 S. Harwood Street, Dallas, TX 75201, at 10 am.

In lieu of flowers, Harold’s family has designated memorial donations to the Dallas Scottish Rite Library & Museum Building Fund as a fitting tribute to his dedication to Freemasonry.
